Estopa

Hi, I'm here again to tell of "Estopa",which is a Spanish music duo formed by brothers David and Jose Manuel Muñoz.. They born in Barcelona (Spain).

Their success began when they won a contest for singers in 1998.

In 1999 they managed to record their first album whose name was "Estopa",which was number one in Spain and it was very sucessful in Latin America.

In 2001 they recorded the second album, "Destrangis".

They followed "¿La calle es tuya?",in 2oo4.That album sold 300,000 copies the first week.

They recorded "Voces de ultrarumba",in 2oo5,which sold 200,000 copies the first day.

Their latest album released in 2008,and it name is Allenrok.

They have announced that they will publish their new record this year.

They have something which attract,they are very good singers in their style.

Their concerts are unique and very specials.

"El Barrio"

Today i'm going to talk about"El Barrio".

El Barrio is a Spanish flemish group,whose singer is Jose Luis Figuereo.
He born in Andalucia,Spain.He begain in the music whit fourteen years old.But his sucess long is comig.

His music is inspired by some famous flamenco singers and it is a mixture of flemish and rock.

The group has a large number of followers,who support and continue them in each of his appearances.These fans are called "Barrieros".

They have recorded several records including:
1996 - "Yo Sueño Flamenco"
1998 - "Mi Secreto "
1999 - "Mal de Amores"
2000 - "La Fuente del Deseo"
2002 - "Me Voy Al Mundo"

They have great tours throughout Spain,all with great sucess.
Rumors said that Jose had throat cancer but he has denied.I hope the rumors aren't true because I love singing as.
Their music is worth hearing.

La Quinta estacion....

La quinta estacion is a group of the music pop that they sing in spanish.

they started in 2000 but their first disc was in 2001/2002.

the grup are formed with a one singer and two musician.The principal of the grup is "Natalia" the singer.She has a voice special because she song very, very good.

The album ¿Donde iran? become in Mexico and them came to spain where it was success, the next album was Flores de alquiler in 2004 with a song very popular el sol no regresa y Daria and tu peor error were the next album and the finaly was Que te queria.

For me they are one of the best group that stay in spain because their songs are very beautiful and with emotion.

I have all the songs and I wanted go to the concert this summer.

Andy y Lucas

Hi!

I'm going to talk about Andy y Lucas. I like this group because their songs are beautiful. My favorite songs are Tanto la quería and Y en tu ventana because I remember the summer of 2004 when I hear

They are a flamenco-pop group from the province of Cádiz. Andrés Morales and Lucas González were neighbours and friends. When nobody knew Jesus Quintero interviewed on his Ratones Coloraos program which launched them to fame. In 2003 they made their first album with thirteen songs, and his single Son de Amores which became a successful summer.The album was released in other countries like Mexico, Argentina, USA.

Last year I was in one of his concerts and I enjoyed it great. They are very cute and sings very well. I also saw in Primavera pop concert 2006 where they had problems with the sound and not heard a good song.

This summer will be a great tour of Spain to sing songs from her new album Con los pies en la tierra. I hope I can go to any of his concerts if I pass all the exams.

...La Oreja De Van Gogh...

Hello!!

I'm going to talk about "La Oreja de Van Gogh", this group has had a great evolution over the years. They began in 1996 when the group was formed by Paul Benegas, Álvaro Fuentes, Xabi San Martín, Haritz Garde and Amaia Montero as a vocalist. But she left the group two years ago to achieve her big dream, to start her own musical career. So in 2008, she presented her first album called "Amaia Montero" and her most popular song was "Quiero ser". For this reason the group had to change its singer.

Now, "LOVG" is formed by the young singer Leire Martínez, who appeared for the first time, in a TV programme called "Factor X".

They presented their new CD, whose name is "A las Cinco en el Astoria" with this work, they continue with the same success and they are more popular in South America and Europe everyday. My favourite song of this CD is "Jueves".

For me, this group is an example of overcoming, because they have continued with their music with another singer, and their lyrics are fantastic as in the past.

Lady Gaga

Hi!

Today I'm going to talk about Lady Gaga.

Her true name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta and she born March 28, 1986, who performs under the stage name Lady Gaga, is an American singer-songwriter, performance artist, dancer and musician. She began her career as a songwriter for established artists, including Fergie, Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears and New Kids on the Block, as well as American singer and producer Akon. After Akon recognized that Gaga also had vocal talent, he signed her to a joint deal with his own label, Kon Live Distribution, and then she started to work on her own new material for her debut album.

My favourites singers sung by her are "Just dance" and "Poker face". Besides she sang this song in the concert "Primavera Pop 2009" and it was a party because the spectators were euphoric, she was fantastic although she is ugly (for me). Her nose is very big and besides with the clothes that she wore...Hum!. But it is my opinion.

Today I'm going to talk about the jonas brothers.

They are three brothers who are very recently formed a group. They are called joe, nick and kevin and the U.S. They are three brothers very young who sing very young, composed, played and act.

They are very famous throughout the world for his triumph in the world of music and cinema ,they are known for albums such as It's about time, Hold on and S.O.S. , which is the most famous of all.

Also we know the number of "Camp Rock" Disney Chanelles.

Finally this summer will keep it in a concert in Spain are so popular that its tickets were sold out in one day. For me they are one of my favorite groups.

I think it will be one of the best groups are younger than.

...Fondo flamenco...

Hello!!

Today I'm going to talk you about "Fondo Flamenco". I know that this group isn't very popular but the number of its fans is increasing everyday.

"Fondo Flamenco" is a group of flemish-pop music which is formed by three young men whose names are Antonio, Astola and Rafael. They come from Seville and they have got a lot of energy and talent. These singers want to show to the world their songs.

I listened their songs for the first time, two years ago and they were beautiful! I think that their lyrics are full of their own experiences and emotions. They presented their third work the last winter and it was called: "Las cartas sobre la mesa". In this Cd, they show a big evolution in their rhythms, because they have mixed different styles like pop, jazz, flemish and rumba.

I was in one of their concerts three weeks ago. I had never been in one before and I was very nervous. I went with two friends and we were near of the stage. The concert lasted about two hours and they sang a lot of songs. I liked it and I had a good time!

Pignoise

Hi again.

Now I talk of Pignoise ,because it is a group that I like very much.
Last year I had the opportunity of going to one of their fantastic concerts but I couldn't because my end of the course trip coincided with it. But this year I hope to go to a concert.

Pignoise is a pop rock group which was formed when the singer Álvaro Benito, who is an ex-football player of Real Madrid, injured his leg. They leaped to fame in Los hombres de Paco series where often act as secondary characters in the bar where they met the protagonists of the series.


The musical style of Pignoise is Pop Punk although many of their songs are Pop Rock. The first single is Nada que perder. They have five albums, the last is Cuestión de directo which went on sale on 11th May of 2009. In this disc they work with Melendi on the song Estoy enfermo and in my opinion the song is fantastic!

I'm going to talk about the Scottish singer Amy MacDonald.

Amy MacDonald who born 25 August 1987 in Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire is a Scottish singer and songwriter.Her debut album, This Is The Life, was released on 30 July 2007 and has sold more than 2.5 million copies. Her first single, "Poison Prince", was released on 7 May 2007. She played shows at music festivals such as Glastonbury, Hyde Park, T in the Park, and V festival. Amy is signed to record company Vertigo. Amy's vocal range is contralto

Her single "This is the life" is the number one in Spain. Although in Spain, she hasn't planed a concert, but she has planed a concerts in other countrys.

Now I'm going to talk about her single "This is the life" because I love this song I think that this song is original because it isn't like other songs that you can listen and the letter is original,too.

My name is Estela,and I also was in the "Primavera Pop" concert.
The evening was very entertained, but the best moment was when melendi went out to the stage.
He is my favourite singer and the favourite one of many people.
He only sang two songs: "Un violinista en tu tejado"and "Piratas del bar Caribe", but it was enough so that the public stood up and they sang and danced.It were ten unforettable minutes.

Ramon Melendi Espina (Melendi) was born in 1979,in Oviedo, Asturias (Spain).
In 2001 he became a member of the band "El bosque de Sherwood", and later he rcorded three songs that he included in his first albun "Sin noticias de Holanda",it was in 2003.
In 2005 he published "Que el cielo espere sentao".
In 2006 he published "Mientras no cueste trabajo".
And in 2008 he published "Curiosa la cara de tu padre".
He has re-edited all his dics and he has added new songs.

His music is a mixture of pop,rock,flemig and rumba styles.
I like his music and I hope to see him soon again.If you hear it you will like.

Alesha Dixon

Hello!

My name is Andrea and I also went to "Primavera Pop" Concert.

I'm going to talk abaut the singer Alesha Dixon because she is the bests singer for me.

The British singer has thirty-one years. His mother is Jamaican and her father English.

Alesha joined the group "Mis-Teeq". Now she sings alone. In addition she is mistress of ceremonies, composer, singer, TV presenter and model.

"Fired Up" was his debut solo album, and was published in 2007. In November 2008 the Singel "The Boy Does Nothing" was top ten in England. "The Boy Does Nothing" has also chartered in the top 10 of multiple other European countries. And this was the song you sang at the concert. She did a great actuaccion with a great choreography.

In conclusion, the concert was fantastic and I hope to go next year also.

Hello!!

My friends and me went to a concert in the bullring of Leganés two weeks ago...more or less. There, the singers who had been invited, sang some of their more popular songs.

We had a very fantastic time there and all the singers sang very well, but my favourite singers were "Melocos".

"Melocos" is a group of pop-rock music. Its members are called: Jaime Terrón (voice), Gonzalo Arcina and Manu Jurado (guitars), Andrés Ortiz (drums) and Antonio Suárez (bass).

They come from "Puerto de Santa María" (Cádiz) and they are between 21 and 23 years old.

They met each other in the school and they began to play music and to made some little works in the world of the music.

In 2007, they presented their first CD. It was called "Melocos" and some important Spanish singers participated in some of their songs. The CD was very successful!

Now, they are more famous and they are created their second CD, it is called "Somos" and they continue working and they began a tour around Spain this summer.

In the concert, they only sang a song which name is the same of their new CD: "Somos". It is a romantic song with slow rithm. I love it...and I like the meanings of their songs...they are fantastic!

El canto del loco

Hi!

My name is Alba. I'm going to talk about "El canto del loco" in the concert "Primavera Pop 2009".

El "Canto del Loco" ( ECDL) is a Spanish pop rock band, although its members recognize that some of their songs are more in the style of power pop. The group was created in 1994 by "Dani Martín" and "Ivan Ganchegui", he left the group in 2002, although the final five members wouldn't come together until years later. Influenced mainly by other Spanish groups from the 1980s and with five studio albums, "El Canto del Loco" has gone on to sell more than a million albums, making them one of the most successful bands currently on the Spanish music scene. After garnering a fanbase aided by the release of "Puede Ser" featuring "Amaia Montero", the band released their album "A Contracorriente" in Mexico, and part of South America.

First "El canto del loco" go to the concert for sing a song with "Lucas Masciano" "Me gustas cuando" but when they finished it, ECDL surprise us singing "Peter Pan" their last single... I don't believe it!

To finish, I loved this concert because went "El canto del loco"

I am going to tell you about the best singer for me: Carlos baute.

He is a man that he is thirty five years old. He was born in Venezuela (Caracas).

He has made seven CD of music with many songs.

I like him because he is very handsome,nice and overcoat he sing very well.

One of his more famous song is "Colgando en tus manos"where he sings with Marta Sanchez .

In my opinion he was the best in all the concert.

PRIMAVERA POP

PRIMAVERA POP 2009

This year as the last times we have gone to Primavera pop concert. Some artists like Alesha Dixon, Melendi, Carlos Baute, El canto del loco, Melocos and Lady Gaga among other singers were invited to this event.

The concert began at 20:00 hours and the tickets were free.

We went with our friends. We were going to eat there, we carried sandwiches and soft drink. While we were waiting until the doors were opened we were playing cards and sing some songs.
During the concert we were taking photos to the singers and we had a good time in it.

The public shouted much when El canto del loco and Melendi went out to the stage. Something for remembering, when a crazy fan throw to Dani (ECDL) her brassiere but he didn't caught it.
The concert finished at 23:00 hours and we were very tired.
